Hotel Acquisitions Continue For Major European Real Estate Fund

CEO of Hotels and Leisure Industry for Principal Real Estate Europe, Jochen Schaefer-Suren confirms the acquisition of ‘Ona Hotel Terra’ in Barcelona and ‘Cour des Loges Hotel’ in Lyon, France.

In a week dominated by the doom and gloom of the Coronavirus, and the genuine uncertainty and fear over the effects of the virus on British and European businesses, one company stands out in making several acquisitions and ‘good news’ announcements.

In press releases this week, Principal Real Estate Europe announced they’d acquired the ‘Ona Hotel Terra’ in the Spanish City of Barcelona for the sum of 40.5 million euros.

The week before, Principal Real Estate Europe also confirmed the acquisition of the ‘Cour des Loges Hotel’ in Lyon, France, for 24.5 million Euros.
