IPO mania: Zoom zooms, Pinterest pins down Wall Street

Apr 21, 2019

SAN FRANCISCO — There's some tech jubilance in the air on Wall Street and in Silicon Valley as a pair of newly public companies — Zoom and Pinterest — saw their stocks soar on their first trading day. No one wants talk about a bubble, not to mention its prospects for bursting, but the strong initial performances might reassure investors with jittery nerves following ride-hailing company Lyft's disappointing start less than a month ago. Joe Schepman owns the farm with his family. He tells The Seymour Tribune that "it's amazing to think about something this large roaming around this area." Ron Richards is senior research curator of paleobiology at the Indiana State...

The work will face substantial challenges — starting immediately, with the urgent need to protect the inside of the 850-year-old cathedral from the elements, after its timber-beamed roof was consumed by flames . The first priority is to put up a temporary metal or plastic roof to stop...
